Could be 5 star!!! The sliders need to be more sensitive especially for the pen size. I thought it was my mouse, however, even the track pad does not help! Work on that refinement AND add more effects and this will be a 5 star App!!! I really like the photo effects you can achieve and the potential for more control over the photo effects would make this 5star!

so easy its crazy! I can spend hours just messing around with archived photos and give them a whole new look....love it :)

Easy to use. Simple to change photos to drawings for coloring or other work.

While Id like to see a few image controls added to this program, I have to admit theres a certain zen purity to dropping the image onto the screen and knowing that what comes out is what you get. I can bump up contrast or desaturate or color balance in Aperture first if I want to tweak the image rather than doing that in the program, but all-in-all, I really like the effect. Consistent and stable. All I could ask for in a program for this price.

Great application, and extremely fun! Only problem I have is if there is a "shiny" spot anywhere on image to be "sketched" it creates a black spot. For example - I had a bunch of pix of 1st graders for a teachers gift. After importing into PhotoSketcher it looked like they had dark spots on their teeth where there may have been a shine. Had to retouch the originals to eliminate shiney spots before bringing them into sketch mode. This app is really fun, but not without issues.

A fair rendering application for the price, but the photo to be rendered to a sketch must be nearly perfect to result in a satisfactory result. The price makes the shortcomings easier to overlook.

This is an amazing app - easy to use and great results.

Great app… I miss some fine tuning in the sliders and a value/guide to be able to re-create a certain look… I miss the possibility of saving presets that you like and/or want to use later again in another session… overall great app… hope developers read these reviews and think on the implementation of some of the ideas...

Out of a myriad of photo sketching programs, this one is the best one out there and the price is right. You cant beat that! Most of these programs fail to give good results, and while this PhotoSketcher is a bit thin on options, the results are spot on! When I want a sketch from a photo, this is my go to program, and Ive got the full versions of CS6 and Corel Paint. Nuff Said!

Couldnt find an on line manual. Cant figure out how to finish out the crop and make its cut. "Support" consists of an email database builder. Really guys...

It does exactly what it says it does, and it is so simple. You can even choose the color of your "pencil". I am using it to create gifts for family members. Go online, download the pictures you want from friends and family, and add the Photo Sketcher special effects. It yields beautiful gifts - print them on photo canvass at your favorite photo developer.

This app does what it promises and more. I was looking for an inexpensive app that would give allow basic artistc sketches from photos to help me with my project. It works and it is fast! The best part is that the end results print our from an inkjet printer beautifully! It is less complicated than Photoshop…very intuitive and user-friendly. Thanks for creating this wonderful and effective app. I own Photoshop but prefer to use this app instead. Way to go!

THis is the best app i have found for creating sketches from photos. Its easy,fun,and the results are very pleasing. Know that there are some photos that lend themselves to this conversion better than others, but for the most part I am very satisfied with it.

Youll be happy if you keep your expectations low. Has limited controls. Background option looks great but does not work with colorizing.

Downloaded last night and began to use immediately. Simple to use, very intuitive, no manual needed. Im loving some of the pics I create (well the program actually creates them) of my grandkids.

It is very fast and simple to use. I love it!

Very good app, but I do wish you had more control over blending out background. Line control could be more sensitive, but over all for the price, a solid reliable app!
